Despite growing up just around the corner from each other and attending the same high school, Elaine and Ryan had never met. Life, however, had other plans, and towards the end of 2020 they finally crossed each other's paths. Their connection was undeniable, and their hearts found solace in one another's presence.

Dating during a pandemic presented challenges but also forged a bond built on intentionality. As they navigated the new relationship, both Ryan and Elaine found themselves immersed in their studies. Patience, support, and the gentle reminder to unwind became their guiding lights.

Time flew by as they grew closer, laughing, gardening and making home improvements. Ryan embarked on a journey of eating more vegetables. In turn, Elaine adapted to the thrill of motorcycles. Their lives gradually merged, becoming beautifully intertwined, as their shared experiences and cherished moments wove the tapestry of their love story.

Then, as 2022 drew to a close, Elaine embarked on a month-long adventure abroad. During this transformative journey, she realised life was better shared. On the other hand, Ryan had already discovered that life was infinitely better for her with him by her side. And so, in March 2023, Ryan, with a heart full of love and anticipation, posed a heartfelt question to Elaine: "Will you spend forever with me?" To which she joyfully exclaimed, "Yes!"

After two and a half years of cherishing and nurturing their love, Elaine and Ryan eagerly await the celebration that marks the beginning of their married life.
